Subject: Working with Autocad DXF format files?

Hi again,

I am looking for information on using Autocad DXF files in Lightwave.  Has
anyone out there done it?  Any pointers or advice?

Is anyone familiar with the Autocad side - what you need to do to export a file
that will be useful in Lightwave?  My Autocad person does not seem to know
anything about the 3D aspects of it and I know zero about any of it.

I have a large DXF file of a new building that our company's architect
provided, but it does not make sense when I read it into Lightwave, and while
we can read it into Autocad on a PC, no one knows how to simplify it to a
minimal file that will be useful in Lightwave.  The idea is to end up with a
Lightwave object of the building with a reasonable amount of work.
